Ingredient details

Calcium chloride is a crystalline salt of calcium and chloride that is highly soluble in water. It can be derived from limestone, brine and also as by-product of the Solvay process. We use calcium chloride as a visosity modifying agent in our laundry detergents. Other uses include as a firming agent in preserved foods and in medicine.
